Brief Description:
Are you interested in making an enterprise grade app for Android devices? Do you want to create a new mobile enterprise framework that can be used for mission critical enterprise applications? We are looking for serious developers who want to write professional applications for Android devices. You will be a key member of the team to implement Oracle's secure container solution on Android devices.
Responsibilities:
- Design/implement/test product features and enhancements
- Provide scoping, estimation of bugs/enhancements
- Work day to day with the development manager and other team members in US and/or India
- Communicate effectively as a technical member on project-based teams
- Mentoring of junior team members
- You will primarily work on building solutions for the Android Platform
Qualifications:
- Candidates should have a degree in computer science or a related field
- Candidates should have knowledge of software development processes
- Demonstrate sound design and implementation skills
- Ability to work both within a team and individually, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- 5+ years Java development experience
- 2+ years experience writing Android applications
- Good knowledge of Android OS concepts
- Understanding of security fundamentals and cryptographic concepts and programming
- Solid working experience with Internet technologies including HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, TCP/IP networking, SSL/TLS/certificates
- Cross platform C/C++/JNI programming an advantage
- Web application development experience an advantage
- SOAP/RESTful web service experience an advantage
- Experience working with mobile device management products an advantage
- Experience working with VPN and proxy gateway products an advantage
- Must have prior experience delivering complete applications
