The analyst role is responsible for the analysis of the IBM forecast, budget, actuals, and business dynamics. The analyst is responsible for interacting with the business units and geographies on the forecast, actuals, budget and business metrics. The analyst is responsible for the development of forecast and budget variance analysis and provides business assessments on an on going basis. Manager Accounting & Controlling

What are my responsibilities?
Monthly Group reporting including financial statements, analysis of key business figures, and executive level analyses of variances and trends
- Supporting the overall Forecast process including forecasts with regard to Central Functions
Coordinating monthly, quarterly, and year end closing/ reporting activities including the pre closing activities and coordinating meetings with Divisions
- Providing financial analysis involving revenue, capital expenditures and operating expenses
- Collaborating with various corporate and business units in preparation of analysis and presentations for senior management
- Ensuring adherence to and communication of accounting guidelines and procedures
- Reviewing risks for receivables, doubtful debts, inventories and other assets
- Asset management coordination including reviews of inventories, receivables, fixed assets etc.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Must possess professional ACCA qualification or equivalent
- Must possess 3 years of relevant post qualification experience preferably in a multinational environment
Ability to understand and implement internal reporting and accounting guidelines, coordination and communication with departments to ensure internal reporting and controlling requirements are fulfilled
- Command over financial reporting in line with IFRS, strong financial, analytical and communication skills
