Job Description:
• To update the system with all the order/sampling requirements received from customer. • To prepare internal order sheets based on the buyer’s order sheets and share it with other internal departments. • Follow-up with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated. • Update management from time to time regarding any discrepancy with regards to the communication about product development & delivery. • Prepare purchase orders that should be advised to the purchase department for PD and execution of orders. • Have packaging material developed/sourced and coordinate with purchase department to ensure timely approvals and planned timelines are met. • To ensure the flow of information through different departments of the organization in order to keep track of the all the aspects pertaining to the production of the orders. • Work closely with the production team to produce the samples (articles) as per customer's specifications and standards. • Prepare an update for Marketing Executive with current status of all running orders/samples and highlight deviations (if any) from the plan • Prepare and dispatch all kinds of samples required by customers for approval/reference/record. • Communicate directly with customers and update them on production/sampling status and/or sample approvals. • Submit approved/chopped samples to concerned department(s) for bulk production.
