Description

 Overview: 
The incumbent in this position would be responsible to deliver the Category strategy with our suppliers and material strategies by connecting with the category functions (Brand Building, R&D and SC) and working seamlessly with Portfolio and Geographical Cluster Procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:• Execute the Partner to Win program (across the “5 reasons to believe”) within their respective Category, working alongside BD, R&D and SC teams to transform how the categories partner with suppliers for mutual growth
• Act on category needs and translate into projects with selected suppliers. Represent procurement in innovation projects. Deliver the Category design and deploy innovation agenda at Global and Regional level.
• Support the category in E2E cost improvements by delivering the Material Savings programmed for respective category at either global or regional level. Collect new ideas from Procurement and propose them to the category for decision making and resource allocation. Lead ideation workshops (internal and with suppliers).
• Deliver the Sustainable Material Sourcing agenda of the category in accordance with identified “Sweet Spots” of sustainability and consumer needs
• Support the Group and Regional SC to develop and execute long term category materials capacity plans with suppliers. Ensure we have the right suppliers in the right location in line with the category growth agenda.
• Develop Key talent in the procurement operations function and act as an entry point for future procurement talent from category functions (R&D, SC and BD)

Education: Bachelors in chemical / Mechanical/ Industrial Engineer

Experience: At least 2-3 of experience in Manufacturing or R&D
